The Dr. R.T. Ware School of Ministry is dedicated to keeping Dr. Ware's passion and
desire of training Godly men in the work of the Pastoral and Evangelistic Ministries.
El Paso International School of Faith in agreement with Southern Baptist of TexasConvention (SBTC), Hispanic Baptist Institute of Biblical Studies (HBIBS), and Bible Training Centre for Pastors (BTCP) is proud to offer a program that will prepare and establish Godly men for the work of Pastoral Ministry and Church Leadership. These programs are designed to provide lay-leaders with the basic tools and education necessary to understand how and what to expect in the role/work of the Pastorate or as an effective church leader.
The information below is a list of the courses offered throughout the program. Each course is approximately ten weeks, and consist of eighteen hours of instructional (classroom) time. The courses are presented by trained instructor that serve as leaders in their respected areas of calling and service to their church. Courses are offered in both English and Spanish as well as other languages (as needed)

EPPT 101 -- Bible Study Methods: This course is an introduction to basic Bible study methods and rules of interpretation with emphasis on accurately understanding and obeying God's Word and the development of practical skills. Students will learn to determine what Scripture says, what it means, and how it can be applied.
EPOT 101 -- Old Testament Survey: This course is an overview survey of the Old Testament focusing on the theme, purpose, structure and basic content of each individual book relating each book to the whole Bible. Stong emphasis is also given to the application message of each book.
EPNT 101 -- New Testament Survey: This course is an overview survey of the Old Testament focusing on the theme, purpose, structure and basic content of each individual book relating each book to the whole Bible. Stong emphasis is also given to the application message of each book.
EPPT 201 -- Preaching Biblical Messages: The first part of this course, Preaching Biblical Messages, is designed to equip and train pastors with the knowledge and skills necessary to prepare and communicate expository messages from the Word of God. The goal of these messages in that they be biblical accurate and responsive to the needs of the people. Emphasis is place on practical preparation of the preacher and his message with numerous examples and practice assignments. The second part of the course, Pastoral Ministry, is designed to equip pastors with knowledge and practical skills required for effective ministry in the church which is fruitful from God's perspective.
EPDS 201 -- Bible Doctrine Survey: This course is a survey and summary of the ten major doctrines of the Bible with an emphasis on the pastor or church leader knowing God more fully while understanding and practicing soung theology.
EPSM 101 -- Personal Spiritual Life/Past Ministry: This course is designed to teach pastors and church leaderes the basic concepts and principles of spiritual life so they can personally grow to spiritual maturity and live a life that is pleasing to God.
EPCM 101 -- Church Ministry/Administration/Education: This course is designed to introduce pastors and church leaders to the basic principles releated to the nature, structure, and function of the church and to teach them the practical knowledge and skills necessary for the local church to effectively carry out its functional roles in the area of ministry, administration and education.
EPTM 201 -- Teaching Principles & Methods: The purpose of this course is to equip pastors and church leaders with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively teach God's Word. Much emphasis is placed on the pastor's role as teacher and the biblical goal of teaching.
EPCH 101 -- Church History Survey: This course is designed to introduce pastors and church leaders to the principal people; the major political, historical, and cultural developments; the main religious movements; and the doctrinal issues which have influenced and shaped the Christian church throughout its 2000 year history.
EPME 101 -- Missions/Evangelism/Discipleship: This course is a three part course designed to ground pastors and church leaders in the basic biblical principles of missions, evangelism, and discipleship so that the church can accomplish its God-given task of bringing lost people to Christ and building them up in Christ.
The cost for the program is $150.00 per course. Scholarships are available (funds permitting).
